Our second stop today was a beautiful garden a short walk from the fish market.
Here we sheltered from the rain in a small tea room (removing shoes and kneeling) to enjoy Matcha tea and a small sweet cake.
We were given a sheet of instructions on how to correctly take tea when in a tea house. We enjoyed the new experience alongside most of our tour group as we sipped tea, chatted and enjoyed the beautiful views.
After tea we walked across the gardens and caught a waterbus further along the Sumida River.
